Bio

I was born and brought up in Newcastle. I started my professional career with Northumbrian Water after gaining a BSc and then an MSc in Environmental management, and I subsequently gained a MBA from Durham Business School.

I have built-up substantial experience of managing organisations in the utilities sector in the UK and abroad. After working for Northumbrian Water, I joined the management team of a government company in Abu Dhabi (UAE) tasked with introducing new processes and technologies to the business, I returned to the private sector becoming the MD of the water company of Riyadh (KSA) introducing innovative business processes and technologies to the business and industrial clients, before returning to the UK as a MD of an O&M company.

I returned to the North East in 2017 and have established my own company providing business support and consultancy services to SMEs. I was appointed a Non-Exec Director of an environmental business in April 2018 and am a mentor for the NELEP and a Member of the Experience Bank.
