Easy Teasy simmered away at the Regional Finals in Gateshead back in March and have excelled once again, proceeding to win the awards of ‘Best Investment Proposal’ and ‘Best Trade Stand’ at the National Finals, with Managing Director, Harry Marshall, commended for the ‘MAG Leadership Award’.

The Easy Teasy team is made up of six students, studying at Northumbria University. With shared passions and individual skills, grown from degrees in Product Design, Business Studies and Fashion Communication, talents have been fused together to spark this new commercial endeavour.

The students are now coming to the end of their university experience and will graduate in July. Easy Teasy is saying farewell to three hard working colleagues, who are moving on to secure graduate jobs in their areas of expertise. This, however, is not the end. The remaining three will continue to nurture the business and look forward to growing the company further.

Here begins the new chapter for Easy Teasy. No longer just a University business, Easy Teasy is excited to announce that later this month, the business will finally become a Limited company, working with Northumbria University to provide the North East with the finest, high quality, loose-leaf tea!

Since foundation in October 2014, the specialised company has flourished over the academic year and will continue to bring a new emphasis to ‘Tea-Time in the Toon’. The three graduates now plan to work on Easy Teasy full-time and are eager to keep stirring the company in the right direction.
