May 2010 - TENANTS TASTE BIC APPLE IN BUILD UP TO MOVIE PREMIERE
Manhattan-style glamour came to the North East BIC today, as tenants and visitors to the Wearfield centre had an exclusive chance to try on official replica shoes from the blockbuster sequel.
BA&SH (Bags Accessories & Shoes), a new company based in Forest Hall, Newcastle upon Tyne, was contracted to provide official “after party” shoes for the North East movie premiere in Newcastle this evening. They worked with BIC based company First2Print to create flyers and banner stands to accompany a dazzling range of slip on shoes, which are worn in the movie by Carrie and her sassy pals.
Kym Jones, director of BA&SH, said: “As there is such a buzz in the air about the movie, we thought it would be a great idea to give everyone a taster, so we teamed up with the BIC and displayed the range of shoes in the atrium over lunchtime. Soon enough we had ladies, and a few men, clamouring to get their hands on a pair!"
