Pixie Lott is joining Sunderland based radio station Sun FM in celebrating 20 successful years broadcasting to Wearside, at their free birthday bash in Keel Square, right in the heart of Sunderland on Sunday May 7th between 12-3pm.
From the banks of the River Wear, Sun FM for 20 years has been flying the flag for Sunderland and the surrounding towns, and has consistently been the No.1 radio station with the biggest breakfast show in this area with Simon & Danni.
They are inviting you to join them for an afternoon of live entertainment, games and giveaways in the city centre at Keel Square where they will be hosting the biggest and best 20th birthday party Wearside has seen. Purposely planned on the same day as The Siglion 10k & Half Marathon, Sun FM are the official media partners and will be hosting the stage all day to make it an even bigger event, and then from just after 12noon the Sun FM free birthday bash will begin until 3pm.
Pixie Lott has confirmed as the headline act and will be performing live on the day for those who stay around after their running, or listeners who want to join the Sun FM party. Pixie previously had great success with a No.1 and many top 10 singles and a couple of successful albums under her belt too.
Previously voted one of the sexiest women in FHM top 100 polls, and a forthcoming host on The Voice Kids, Pixie will be returning to Sunderland after previously appearing at the Stadium of Light a few years ago. You can see her for free in Keel Square on May 7th as she joins the local talent being showcased.
