The BIC is proud to announce that we have retained the ISO 9001 certification, an internationally recognised Quality Management System that ensures we meet the requirements that provide the foundation to better customer satisfaction, staff motivation and continual improvement.

Now certified at ISO 9001:2015 Standard, this accreditation demonstrates our dedication to providing quality services to all of our clients, as well as the ongoing improvements we make to benefit our business and employees.

What is ISO 9001?

ISO 9001 is an international standard that sets out the criteria for a quality management system with a number of statutory and regulatory requirements. During the assessment, organisations are expected to have implemented quality management system requirements for all areas of business, including Facilities, People, Training, Services and Equipment.

Organisations are also required to make sure any areas for improvement are identified and acted on, proving that they meet the strict quality management standards set.

Our recent assessment for the continued accreditation passed with flying colours and is testament to the consistently high levels of service we deliver here at the BIC.

Paul McEldon, Chief Executive, said: “I’m delighted that we have been re-awarded the ISO 9001 certification. Quality is at the heart of everything we do at the BIC and we’re always looking for ways in which we can improve our services to meet the needs of our tenants and clients.

“This continued certification shows that we have effective and clear procedures in place for each of our service offerings, and we have a strong focus on the quality of those services for our clients.

“The BIC will continue to engage with these standards and apply them to our systems and procedures effectively, helping our business, tenants, clients and employees feel the benefits of being part of an ISO 9001 certified organisation.”
