Work Discovery Week launch 2017 event at the Stadium of light in Sunderland Picture: DAVID WOOD
Work Discovery Week is a unique initiative which runs across Sunderland and is now about to return for the sixth year.
The programme sees hundreds of students from across the city taking part in an event which helps to improve their employability and give them the tools they need to make informed career choices.
The week – which runs from 25 to 29 June – is part of the wider Work Discovery Sunderland which runs throughout the year.
Businesses from every sector and from across the region are involved in the event, offering visits to their workplaces, talks to students and a whole host of other activities, along with exhibiting at the opening day careers fair at the Stadium of Light.
Businesses of all sizes and from all industries are encouraged to get involved in this amazing programme. There are numerous opportunities along with a whole range of sponsorship packages.
