Queen Bey will take to the stage on June 28 as she opens up the European leg of her Formation World Tour in Sunderland.   1. A theatre performance with a difference

For a gift that keeps on giving, how about supporting a local community theatre company that aims to raise much needed funds for Help for Heroes.  Sunderland’s longest established amateur theatre group, the Sunderland Theatre Company is taking to the stage at Sunderland College to perform Sunshine on Leith, which charts the lives of two former military men returning to Civvy Street.
