After a professional relationship that has spanned almost ten years, a team of telecommunications experts in Washington have set up Sirius Telecom to help businesses across the UK streamline their communications solutions and reduce their spending.

The close-knit team based at The Hub in Washington, have worked together for over six years and have expert knowledge of the telecoms industry, so they know exactly what it takes to stay one step ahead of their competitors.

“Having worked so well together for many years, we knew we could make a success of a new business together, it was then that Sirius Telecom was born,” explained Operations Manager Jolene Sundin.

Jolene has almost 15 years of experience in telecoms, and has a strong background in customer service. Together with her sister Janelle Holmes, Provisioning and Customer Service Executive, and a number of others from Durham and Northumberland, this new venture is looking to build relationships with like-minded business people that will last for years to come.

At present, the team has partnerships with BT Openreach, Vodafone, and Zen Internet, some of which have been long-standing for over ten years. These partnerships allow them to resell market leading telecommunications products, ensuring that they remain sustainable and ahead of the game.

In partnership with Zen Internet, Sirius soon hopes to provide technology, an up and coming product that utilizes existing copper networks, seeing an impressive leap forward in internet speeds of up to 300Mbps for small business owners.

They may have just set up, but the team is expecting big things in their first year. By creating a base of loyal partners and customers who share their passion for quality service, the team at Sirius hopes to establish themselves as a well-known and respected Telecoms business both in the North East and further afield. As the business grows, they’re hoping that the team will grow with not only additional staff, but apprentices and graduates to support the local community.
