Re-Take That announce homecoming show at iconic Sunderland Empire

Re-Take Thati-Stage Group’s award-winning tribute act Re-Take That are hoping that June 14th will be the greatest day of their lives – when they realise their dreams and take to the stage of the Sunderland Empire.

Hot on the heels of Gary Barlow’s recent sell out shows at the Empire, Sunderland born Re-Take That are performing at the iconic venue to celebrate ten years as a band.

Currently touring across the country, they will be bringing “Wonderland” to Sunderland in a celebratory show which will feature all of Take That’s most popular hits. Although the real Take That only toured as a 3 piece last year, Re-Take That’s show will also feature an appearance from Robbie Live who will be singing some of his most famous songs such as Rock DJ and Angels.

Ross Petty, who plays Robbie in the band, said:

“We have been lucky enough to perform across the world as Re-Take That but there will be something magical about standing on that stage at the Sunderland Empire. We are from Sunderland so to be performing to a local audience including our family and friends will be so special. We have a few surprises planned on the night too so it will definitely be a night to remember.”

The band are also committed to supporting local charities. Last year they helped to raise over £35,000 for Tiny Lives Trust. This year they are raising awareness and funds for the Red Sky Ball which supports the Children’s Heart Unit at the Freeman Hospital by donating £2 from every ticket sold for the Sunderland Empire show.

Re-Take That have performed worldwide and have received rave reviews from the likes of Declan Donnelly, Eamonn Holmes and even Take That’s very own Jason Orange.

Tickets are available from the Sunderland Empire Box Office, by calling 0844 871 3022* or www.ATGtickets.com/Sunderland
