A group of Northumbria University’s final year students are bringing a fresh emphasis on teatime.

Supplying quality loose-leaf teas, Easy Teasy is the creation of six tea lovers: for tea lovers. The business became established in 2014 and just last month picked up two National Young Enterprise awards for Best Start Up and Best overall company within the North East and Cumbria area.
Easy Teasy’s founders have created and nurtured the fresh new business with a shared interest- a passion to find the perfect pick-me-up after a long studious day. As the team works towards degrees in Product Design, Business Studies and Fashion Communication, an appetite for business success and creative opportunity sparked this new commercial endeavour.
Encouraging the North East to relax and indulge by offering teas with a modern and minimal design aesthetic, the new range features eight premium flavours including traditional English Breakfast, detoxing Yunnan Green and exotic, aromatic Chai.

These business-savvy students have become immersed in the most exciting and dynamic student experience the North East has to offer. The team fuses together their individual talents, all grown from different parts of the country. The undergraduates aim to have even more distinguished success in the coming months and have just introduced three new springtime flavours of Peach Sencha, Chocolate and Coconut and fruity Cloud Catcher.
