Lights, camera... BBQ!
Every summer, we swap desks for deckchairs and emails for entertainment as tenants and staff come together for one of the highlights of the BIC calendar – our annual Summer BBQ.
This year’s movie-themed celebration was packed with blockbuster costumes, great food and plenty of laughs. Guests enjoyed live entertainment from a talented singer, were amazed by a magician, took home memorable caricatures and browsed stalls from a fantastic selection of local traders, adding even more to the day’s vibrant atmosphere.
At the BIC, we know that taking time to celebrate together is just as important as supporting businesses to grow. Events like these strengthen our community, build lasting relationships and remind us that work can be enjoyable too.
A huge thank you to all our tenants who joined in the fun. Together, we raised £350, which the BIC has matched, bringing the total to £700 for two fantastic charities nominated by our tenants: Solan Connor Fawcett Family Cancer Trust and We Make Culture.
We’re also incredibly grateful to our suppliers and partners who helped make the day such a success – from the live music supplied by ISG, Paul the magician and Howell Studios green screen photography, to the delicious BBQ from Riverside Diner, movie props created by Forty One Thirty and Precision Proco and videography by Run Free PR.
