Starting Your Business Workshops

Whether a full-time venture, side hustle or part-time lifestyle business turning a hobby into income, we will eliminate the anxieties holding you back and help turn your dream into reality.

The workshop covers the highs and the lows of being your own boss, from funding to budgeting, accounting to recruitment. Your tutor will outline the practical aspects of business ownership, such as the skills required, the correct legal structure, pricing and marketing, and how to build a reliable support network.

This session is completely FREE, so what are you waiting for?

What you’ll learn…

  • Whether being self-employed is right for you
  • How to thoroughly research your idea
  • How to bring your idea to life

This workshop is for anyone with the gem of a business idea or those who have begun researching their idea without taking any further steps to making it a reality.

The workshop is for those living in the Sunderland Local Authority area and haven’t yet registered as self-employed with HMRC.
