Managing your business finances

Organiser: North East BIC

Understanding how to finance your business begins with knowing exactly how much capital you require and where it can be found. You will also need to understand what the many different types of finance can offer your business.

Thankfully, from start-up loans to grants and even managing cashflow in the early years of your business, Your tutor will help you ensure your start-up is as financially sustainable as possible.

Held on Zoom, the ‘Managing your business finances’ free workshop brings budding entrepreneurs together to answer the burning questions on all things finance, in an informal session that helps ensure attendees leave with the insight and knowledge required to bring ideas to life and monetise a business plan.

What you’ll learn…

  • The importance of financial monitoring
  • Pricing and why it is important
  • If you need external finance and where to look for loans/grants

This workshop is for anyone with the gem of a business idea or those who have begun researching their idea without taking any further steps to making it a reality.

The workshop is for those living in Sunderland, Tyne and Wear, Durham or Northumberland and haven’t yet registered as self-employed with HMRC.
