Award winning North East Law Firm, Jacksons continues to grow with the appointment of new team members and staff promotions.
Amie Callan has been recruited to the firm as head of finance and is a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accounts (ACCA) and the Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT). Prior to joining Jacksons she worked in senior positions in the healthcare and manufacturing sectors. Amie is responsible for managing the accounts team and to support the profitable growth of the firm.
Associate Solicitor and Head of family, Heather Snowdon joins Jacksons and brings with her 16 years’ experience of advising and representing clients in relation to all aspect of private family law. Heather areas of expertise include divorce, financial settlements, separation of co-habitees, children act matters and domestic issues.
Matthew Rowlinson qualified in 2016 and joined the firm recently as employment solicitor, having previously worked for a Newcastle law firm. He is based in Jacksons’ Newcastle office, working closely with head of employment, Paul Clark.
Jacksons’ residential conveyancing team has taken on three new members of staff. Apprentices Kieran Barnes from North Shields has joined the firm’s Newcastle office and Rhianna Fletcher from Billingham joins the Tees Valley office. Both Kieran and Rhianna join the firm on business administration level 3 apprenticeships. Legal assistant Emily Skillcorn, has been recruited to assist the residential team in Stockton on Tees.
The Wills, Trusts and Probate team in the Tees Valley office has welcomed apprentice, Emma Oakley.
Head of Employment, Paul Clark has been promoted to Partner along with Head of Business Development and Marketing, Karen Robinson and now brings partner numbers at the firm to 11. Paul joined Jacksons in 2016 as Associate Solicitor and was promoted to head of employment in January 2018. Karen has been with the firm since September 2015 and has, since then, taken the lead on the firm’s business development and marketing strategy.
