UK entertainment company I-Stage Group release charity fundraising song ‘We Are The World’ to raise money for NHS Charities Together.
The Song which included performers from BIC-based I-Stage Group, ISG Global Music and Inspire Stage School was recorded and edited during Lockdown by I-Stage Media.
Peter Waite who produced the final track said: “It was very challenging, all of the audio was recorded in different environments and on different devices, all of which we had no control over. Normally we record in our own studio where we can ensure the quality and consistency of the material. I’m happy we were able to produce such a high quality single during the lockdown period and all for a great cause too.”
Head of I-Stage Media Duncan McManus, who produced and edited the video said: “This video is one of the most rewarding pieces of work I’ve done to date. The challenges we faced and had to over come were overwhelming but we persevered and I’m thrilled with the result. Huge thanks to all of the artistes who did a great job for a great cause.”
Company Director Paul Waite said: “In these uncertain times it’s important that we all stick together and this project certainly proved that. I’m extremely proud of Peter and Duncan from our Media division and all of the artistes including our young stars of the future from Inspire Stage School. They’ve proved by working together as a team we can create truly amazing things. The NHS and all of our key workers have proven to the world who the real superstars are and I’m delighted we can show our appreciation in an artistic and creative way.”
The single also featured some of the regions most successful singer/songwriters including Will Jennison, He Knows, She knows and Geoff Mull.
He Knows, She Knows who wrote a new verse especially for the single said: “It was a pleasure to be actively involved with such a special project. We were delighted to add a creative verse to acknowledge the situation we all find ourselves in.”
Will Jennison from record label ISG Global Music said: “It was a pleasure to be asked to be involved with this. Please donate if you can. We’re incredibly lucky to have the healthcare system we have, so to everyone I know closely working in the NHS and those who continue to work day by day – thank you. “
Geoff Mull added: “ We’re all missing performing right now so to be able to be involved in such a special project was truly amazing. Please dig deep and support our NHS. Well done to I-Stage Media for producing something very special.”
