Enterprising North

Support to start your business

Enterprising North is an exciting new programme, designed to support indiviuals looking to start their own business or are in the early stages of trading.

The programme is funded by the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund and brings together business support providers from across the region to provide expert advice, guidance and exciting opportunities to help your business idea or early-stage venture into a reality.

The North East BIC is primarily supporting individuals and early stage businesses located in the Gateshead area. Our expert advisers Rita and Nham are working in the heart of this community, offering free one-to-one advice, workshops, events and online resources and information, to make starting a business accessible to all.
