Jacksons Law

Service:

As employees return to the workplace and new businesses prepare to take on staff for the first time, the Employment Team at Jacksons Law Firm are on hand to offer support with all types of employment law and HR issues including implementing or reviewing and updating contracts, policies and procedures.

Offer:

The Start-up Business Package provides new employers with the essential employment documents plus affordable ongoing support.

For a one-off payment of £250 plus VAT, clients receive a template contract of employment (or casual worker agreement) together with a staff handbook containing a disciplinary procedure, a grievance procedure, an equality policy, and a communications policy. The Employment Team will work with you to ensure that these documents are correctly drafted for your business and then be available to provide advice on non-contentious employment law matters at a discounted hourly rate of £125 plus VAT for six months.

For more established business, the Employment Team are currently offering a free Employment Documents Audit whereby they will review your contracts and staff handbooks without charge and then suggest amendments, where necessary, or recommend any additional clauses, policies and procedures which would benefit your business.

Since April 2020, employers have been obliged to provide new starters with a written statement of their terms and conditions from day one of work while this requirement also now applies to workers rather than just employees. With contractual terms likely to be scrutinised as working practices change again, now is the time to update your employment documents.

How to claim:
