Maintenance Team Member

Full Time: 39.5 hours per week

Working hours: Monday – Thursday 8:00am – 5:00pm, Friday 8:00am – 4:30pm

Salary: £27,626.00 (plus benefits)

About the Role

We are looking for a highly motivated, hands-on Facilities Team Member to join our supportive and friendly team. The role involves maintaining the smooth day-to-day operation of a busy multi-building site, with flexibility to provide cover across other centres when required. The post holder will be expected to work safely at all times, follow on-site Health & Safety procedures, and support routine safety compliance across the site as part of their normal duties.

Key Responsibilities

  • General maintenance and DIY tasks
  • Setting up rooms and moving furniture
  • Basic electrical, plumbing and general repair work
  • Painting, decorating and site upkeep
  • Waste management and recycling duties
  • Monitoring contractors and reporting issues
  • Mail handling
  • Supporting reception when required
  • Providing cover and support across other BIC Centres

Additional Requirements

  • Full UK driving licence (essential)
  • Flexibility to respond to out-of-hours emergency callouts (essential)
