NEEAL Project Administrator

Responsible to NEEAL Project Director and NEEAL Compliance Manager

Full time or part time considered: 37 hours per week FT

Salary: £23,088.00 per annum FT + benefits including, pension, healthcare, cycle scheme, flexible working plus café and free on-site parking.

The overall purpose of this post is to support the North East Enterprise Agency Limited (NEEAL) team in the administration of its business support programmes.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Acting as main point of contact for incoming enquiries, by telephone, e mail or through the web.
  • Ensure the NEEAL team has excellent administrative support across the projects.
  • Help manage communications both within the project team and between the project
  • team and project delivery partners.
  • Support the NEEAL team in the delivery of their duties.
  • Support marketing activity undertaken by the team.
  • Maintain and develop a solid understanding of public sector funding, regulations and requirements as they relate to the administration of a business support project.
  • Process project claims: this will include accurate data input at high volume, paperwork
  • checks and full claim checks.
  • Ensure that a comprehensive CRM system is maintained to record all project activity.
  • Assist the Project Compliance Manager to introduce and maintain governance systems.
  • Provide proactive administrative support to ensure that delivery is smooth and all
  • project management activities take place in a timely manner.
  • Act as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders particularly in
  • the absence of other team members.
  • Co-ordinate a web-based events portal and updating the content.
  • Ensure that full records for all project activity are maintained.
  • Co-operate with auditors and evaluators as required.
  • Assist with the organisation and delivery of meetings, including organising hospitality.
  • Attendance at various meetings, including Board meetings, for the purposes of minute taking.
  • General administrative duties to include making room bookings and set up, phone calls, appointment bookings, archiving, filing, shredding, scanning etc.
  • Undertake any other duties commensurate with the grade that may be required by
  • the Project Director or Project Compliance Manager.

This post involves working on Enterprise Support in the North East 2 and Business Compass Start Up 2 which are part funded by European Regional Development Fund.
