Riverside Mortgage Advice, an independent Sunderland-based mortgage advisory firm, has announced its expansion following a period of growth less than three years after its founding.
The business has scaled from a solo venture in a spare bedroom to a thriving four-person team, establishing a dedicated office at the North East BIC to meet rising client demand.
Founded in October 2023 by experienced advisor Ashleigh Watson, the firm provides independent advice across all aspects of lending, including first-time buyers, buy-to-let, and individuals who are self-employed. The firm has also developed a strong speciality in navigating complex cases, specialist property types, and helping people bounce back from bad credit or post-covid financial difficulties.
The expanding team now includes James, an administrative apprentice working to become a fully qualified advisor, alongside two newly appointed mortgage advisors, Cheryl and Erin. To support the team and its growing client base, Riverside Mortgage Advice has also launched a brand-new website.
