Sunderland-based Infinity Wellness Clinic is celebrating five years in business after launching during the COVID-19 pandemic with a mission to bring innovative, tech-led wellness therapies to the North East.
Steve, Keri and Olivia McMullen launched the family-run business after identifying a gap in the market for touch-free wellness therapies.
Having spent months travelling across the UK to access alternative therapies themselves, the couple decided to bring the concept closer to home, establishing their business at the North East BIC in Sunderland.
Their vision was to create a destination where people could access private, contactless wellness therapies in a comfortable and relaxing environment, with everything set up ready for clients to enjoy their chosen therapy.
Today, Infinity Wellness Clinic offers a range of therapies, including cryotherapy, floatation therapy, infrared sauna and hydrotherapy massage, helping clients to relax, manage everyday stress and pain, and support their overall wellbeing.
Steve McMullen, owner of Infinity Wellness Clinic, said: “Reaching five years in business makes us incredibly proud. It rarely feels like work because watching our clients’ transformations is so rewarding.
“People walk through our doors carrying the weight of the world on their shoulders, feeling the pressures of everyday life or struggling with pain, and they leave looking happier, more relaxed and, in many cases, telling us they feel free from pain. Seeing clients recommend us to their friends and family means everything to us.

Since opening at Sunderland Enterprise Park, the business has built a loyal client base, attracting customers from across the region.
