Perfect Your Pitch and Build Your Network
Join us for the 10th Inspire Lab event, bringing together local businesses for a morning of inspiration, networking and new opportunities to collaborate.
This session will be a little different, with a chance to connect with members of the Federation of Small Businesses (FSB) at their networking event, hosted at the North East BIC.
Get ready to pitch your business
Before the event, take some time to prepare your 30-second elevator pitch. You’ll have the opportunity to practise your pitch with fellow Inspire Lab attendees before joining the FSB networking session, where you can put your new skills into practice and meet other small businesses.
The morning will include:
- Networking opportunities: Connect with other local businesses and explore opportunities to collaborate.
- Pitch development: Build confidence in introducing your business and communicating what makes it special.
- Effective networking techniques: Develop practical skills to help you make the most of business networking.
- Meet the FSB: Hear from Katy Scott about the support available to FSB members and the organisation’s work representing small businesses across the region.
- Hear a real business story: Discover how Jen Jarvie from Durham-based The Detective Rooms has benefited from FSB membership.
Whether you’re looking to build your confidence, make new connections or explore opportunities to grow your business, this Inspire Lab is a great chance to develop your skills and meet like-minded entrepreneurs.
Places are limited, so book your place today.
